Error with specify module

Hi
I am using TS 4.0.1 and LV 7.1
When I start the TS first time and check for the specify module, it shows parameters details properly. After some times (after running the code once ), when I go to specify module window, it shows error " An error has occured. Please save your work and restart the sequence editior." !
Any idea how to solve this?

Hi,

It's probably something in your labview module. You dont supply an instrument handle, why is this?

Hi Ray, I have supplied the Instrument Handle parameters. It is not supplied as a container, it has been supplied individually. (image attached.)

Can you please post an example sequence and VI that reproduce the problem?

Thanks.

The actual sequence file and related VIs are of 100MB size.
I just simulate the same scenario with less VIs. This particular sequence works with Tektronix DPO7254 oscilloscope. I run the same in our setup for 3 - 4 times and it is giving the same error as mentioned earlier. (When open first time, specify module displays all the details. After some time, it is showing error.).

Hi Vishal -

I am trying to reproduce what you are seeing and need your help.   The three VI's in your zip file are dependant on other VI's that are not in the standard driver library.  Would you save the VI's in one library as a development distribution and post that library?

Would you also post the version of IVI Compliance Package and NI-VISA you have on your system?

Thanks,
Jim C

Hi Jim,
Here is the link for the complete library file.  (It is an instrument driver of Tektronix DPO7254)

something strange, but it is working at my place ! 🙂
If I make the "Specify Module" window fix, it works fine(no error). While it is in auto hide state and I am trying to go to "Specify Module" by right click or double click it gives this error.
