Kevin L, that example cleared up a couple things I was struggling with. I was almost there, but I was having problems with the NewExecution function. I wish the documentation was easier to work through, you entered a couple values for variables that I wouldn't have thought of. ("Nothing" for the model reference, for example.) I'll integrate the examples into what I've done and see how it goes.
