How to Propagate a Step Status of "Error" to the UUT Result ?

I found a knowledge base article on how to do this, but I have On the Fly reporting enabled and discard result when not required by TestStand option selected because of which the “ResultList” is empty. How can this be accomplished in this case?

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Vidula

Hey Vidula,

I do want to apologize in advance for not understanding exactly what you are trying to do. Would you mind pointing me to the KnowledgeBase you mention so that  I can see what it is you are trying to do.
Thanks

I could not dowload the attachment listed in the above mentioned  article. When i try to open it, it says the file could not be read. Could anyone from NI reload this attachment file PropogateStepResult.seq? Thanks

Hi.

I can't access it either.  Could you please post the file to this forum?

The error I get is:

"Internet Explorer cannot download PropogateStepResult.seq from ae.natinst.com.  The site was not found.  Make sure the address is correct, and try again."

Thanks!

I tried with Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer 8. No luck so far. If you can open it, could you please post that attachment file in this thread? Thanks

Anna,

You just have to look at the link to see it one of those private .'ae' links that exist all over the place and have not been fixed.
