NI USI 1.7.1 install stuck ?

Trying to patch LV 2009 to SP1 on a VMware installation of Win7 (running on OSX 10.6.3).

The installer gets stuck at "NI USI 1.7.1  Part 20 of 52". Is this the registry key permissions problem from 1.5 again ?

FWIW the LV 2009 installation does seem to work otherwise...
