How to hide/reveal CVI module in step setting.

Hi there

 

I see some CVI, teststand script like below, hide CVI module, how to do this way if someone can help? thanks in advance.

I don't understand the question.  Are you trying to hide the Adapter: so that others can not see which adapter the step is using?  Or do you want to change the icon so that it looks different?

Configure>>Adapters...

 

Then uncheck the Hidden checkbox for the adapter you want to unhide.

 

Is this what you are talking about?

Thanks for your answer,  my question here might be more complex.

 

Normal CVI module in teststand should be like below:

Hey,

 

For this step, you're using the DMM_GetSingleMeasurement type and not a default type that ships with TestStand. This tab is missing because in the DMM_GetSingleMeasurement's type properties, a developer has selected to disable the "Specify Module" property under the Disable Properties tab. You should find out where you got this type and talk to the developer to see why this property was set.

Roxy is correct.  This is a custom step type.  Thanks for the picture.  That helped clarify things.
