How to hide sequences for 'private' usage

Am I right that there is no means of specifying the scope of usage of a sequence in a sequence-file?
I have created some sequences inside a sequencefile that should only be used by that sequencefile.
When selecting the property 'PropFlags_Hidden' the sequence gets hidden in the sequence overview (unless hidden items are made visible with the Station Options).
But, the sequence is still visible in the pull-down menu of the Edit Sequence Call dialog when configuring a sequence-call from another sequencefile to this one.
Is there any way to prevent this?

Hi Ovide,

I've Just done a Quick test in TestStand 4.0. and here the 'Hidden' Sequences are not visable in the Sequence Call step. When I Check 'Show Hidden Properties' in the Station Options the Sequence becomes visable and is selectable.

I don't have 3.5 installed right now so I can't check if this is not the case in this version.

Thanks

Thanks, Karsten

I have to admit that I was unaware that TestStand 4.0 is available. I will have a look at the list of new features. I hope it has some better analysis tools. For example, it often takes me a lot of time to discover that someone has modified the parameterlist of a sequence modifying all calls to that sequence. This can lead to strange behaviour. When opening a sequence call these kind of errors are immediately visible because they are marked red. Would it not be great if I would not have to open each sequence call due to a 'report errors' option in the menu that lists all items that would be marked red when opened? 🙂

Oops, I got carried away a bit there.
