How can I transfer my license and activation code on a dead computer to another compuer?

Hi,

You would have to obtain a new activation code for NI, either by phone, or the web using the details of you new system.

The easiest way is just to do it automatically when you install the software, but this assumes the system you have installed the software on is connected to the web.
