Migrating Teststand3.1 to Teststand 2016

Hi All,

I have a requirement where I need to Migrate Teststand project built on 2.0 and 3.1 to Teststand 2016 SP1.

I wanted to know which is the best approach I can take for migration. If you give me some procedure it would be helpful.

I tried to open the sequence files and run it. Ended up with lot of station global variables and local variables errors ,Logging and code modules errors.

My current system setup:                           

Teststand :2016 SP1(64bit)

Labview:2017 (32bit)

Windows 7(64bit-OS)

Older code:

Teststand 2.1

Labview 7.1

Windows xp(not sure exact version).

It may be helpful. 

The other problem you are going to have is taking the LabVIEW code from 7.1 to 2017.  I think you have to convert it to 8.x first.  Here is a tutorial on converting LabVIEW: https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA03q000000YSO4CAO&l=en-US

If there is a chance you can post your sequence file I could look at it on my end.
