Operation Failed Error Code -17500

Hello:

I am running TestStand 2.0.1 and LabView 6.1. I have peculiar problem when running TestStand I does not happen that frequent but it does only happen in one computer it is running XP.
The problem is that TestStand frezes up any where durring the runnig of the program not always on the same part of the sequence. To get out of it I have totally reboot the computer otherwise TestStand will not respond at all.
The TestStand displays Operation Failed.  Error Code: -17500  I have not found any reason why.

Hello Toro,

Unfortunately the error code -17500 does not provide much information.  If you search the discussion forum for this error (found here) there are many posts dealing with completely different problems.  Are you able to provide us with more information about what is typically happening when this error occurs?  For example, the sequence only stops responding if I am running a sequence that calls a labview code module (or message popup etc).  Also, you might be able to provide information such as it only stops responding when labview modules are called that access my data acquisition board.

Finally, you mentioned that the problem only occurs on one computer running Windows XP.  Are you able to run the same sequence on another machine successfully?  If so what are the main hardware and software differences?
