Requirements Gateway

Hi,

(Sorry more NIRG than TS)

I have a TestStand sequence with all requirements from a high level document covered. I have a new requirement which when added to the Top level (wordx doc) it shows up as Uncovered Requirement in the Rule Check. My problem arises as this new requirement will be covered by a new simple text file which in turn is also read by Teststand. When this txt file is linked to the top level requirement the rule check shows that all requirements are uncovered.

I have tried this again with txt files as the requirements document and two covering txt documents sharing the requirements each time i add file two the rule check shows all requirements are uncovered.

Is there away around this effect?

I could could the requirement with the step that loads the txt file but this is not a satisfactory solution.

Thanks in advance..

When you connect the additional file, does it look like an upside down Y or an upside down V?  There is a circle with a node when you make the first connection.  Connect the second file to that circle and it should look like a Y.  This means that if either file covers this requirement, it is met.  If you have the V shape, it means that both files must cover the requirement for it to be met.
