Simple Operator Interface GUI

When I run the Simple Operator Interface (SOI)  the "STOP, REFRESH,HOME, etc" buttons in the lower display vi appear to be up too high in the display window.  If you look when I run it you can just see the boxes in the display window.  If I hover my mouse button over them they appear in the window.  Anyone know why??  I tried to resize the box but it still doesn't do any good.  They "disappear" at runtime.  tried to do a screen capture but windows won't let me when I run the SOI.

Hi Clint,

This is definately strange.  Do you see similar behavior in any of the other simple OIs, or in the LabVIEW full-featured OI?  Also, if you create a new VI and place the TestStand UI ReportView Control, then run, do you see similar behavior?  Your ReportView control may be corrupted, in which case a repair install of TestStand would fix the problem; but please let me know the results of the above tests!

I tried to go back to the original Simple OI ( to see if I got the same behavior) but silly me for got to copy over the llb into the user directory 1st.  Now the original simple OI is modified.  I looked on the NI website to see if I could find the original llb but couldn't.  I was going to call NI or post here 1st.

The Sw is on a Test Staion in the Lab.  I have to get back to my desk to see if the original Simple OI is thereso I could at least get back to square 1.

To answer your question, No.  I haven't tried it w anything else.  I guess I could attach the OI I'm having trouble w and see if you see anything.  i did mod it behave as I required.

Hi Clint,

Probably the easiest way to restore the OI is to move all of your cusomized files out of theTestStand directory, then repair the installation.  This can be done through add/remove programs in windows.  Please feel free to attach your OI, and I'll let you know if I get the same behavior.
