TESTSTAND EVALUATION VERSION

Hello
 
I have a problem regarding Ni teststand 4.0.1 evaluation version. I have downloaded it several times and when i run it on my windows an erreo message comes which says "This is not a valid win32 application ". when i tried to extract the files . error and corruption message appears. i have downloaded it multiple times and run on different PC's. But same result. can anyone check that

Hi Madd,

What operating system are you running?  Also, can you confirm that you are downloading from the TestStand 4.0.1 Evaluation Software Page.

I downloaded from this site and ran this on a test machine without error.  The test machine has Windows XP installed.

  • Download the NI TestStand 4.0.1 Evaluation Software (420MB)

Hi Madd,

The only thing different I noticed from the screen shot of the error is that it appears you used WinRAR for extraction. Could you try extracting the files using WinZip instead?  The TestStand download includes WinZip, so you can just double-click on the download and it should open with WinZip.

What version of Windows XP are you using?  Is it the 32 bit version?  Is it service pack 1 or 2?

Are all the computers you have attempted the install on the same?  Who is the manufacturer?

If nothing seems unique about your machines, another option would be to request the TestStand evaluation on disk.  You can contact National Instruments to request an evaluation version of TestStand by mail.

For ur continous reply. yes u were right. i have extracted it now using winzip. My win XP is 2002 version, with service pack 2.computer manufacturer is Dell. i have now a new error message.i have attached here with.

To disturb u again. i have tried to contact Ni to mail me the Disk but there is some server conection problem.so i am unable to email. i u could do me a favour and send me the disk on NI's Behaf at My postal address which is House # 129 street # 4 Mubarak Lane Addyala Road Rawalpindi Paskitan. Remamber there is a big "if possible"
