TS4 Slow... new "things"

Hi All.

Have just installed TS4, and started to see what it can do better than 3.5.

The first thing I notice is that it is VERY slow to start up, it takes about 20seconds from I press the icon until I see the first splash screen. and around 30 seconds more until the login prompt is ready.

The second time it is started after a reboot is the time "only" 20seconds.

My PC is a intel M 1700Mhz with 1Gb RAM

All menues also seems to work slower, every time that you press a button or anything, then it not respons immediate... the cursor just freeze for a moment before moving on...

And what is the reason that we cant select steps with the mouse anymore..... in TS3.5 you could select some steps with the mouse and then for instance "Run Selected Steps", now you have to use the keyboard to select..... crap....

regarding the loading time of TS 4.0 i can confirm that loading takes a bit longer than TS 3.5. I havent done a benchmark, how much "offset" is here....

Regarding the mouse-issue: i cannot confirm that. TS 4.0 works here just the same as 3.5 if you select the steps with mouse and pressing SHIFT or ALT (just like in Windows).

I know how to select 🙂

Try to make a seq with a couple of steps, then if you go below the steps (where there is no steps at all), then you can press the left mouse button and then draw into the steps, then they are selected...... this cannot be done in TS4.
