TestStand certification Exam questions

These are specific to TestStand Developer Exam.

Questions 1:
When is the last day to register for the Test Stand Developer exam? For example, one week before the exam day or one month before the exam.

Question 2:
Is the TestStand Developer Certification exam all written questions, a combination of written and practical (hands-on), or all practical?

If there is practical portion, does it involve wiring the hardwares? If so, how should we study for it?

Question 3:
According to your certification FAQ, for practical exam, it is graded on 3 criteria: documentation, functionality, and style.
What kind of standsard are these criteria base off of?
In other word, what is the "accepted good coding guideline"?

Sorry for the delayed response..
A1. We would urge to you apply ideally, three weeks prior to scheduling an exam, but no later than two weeks in advance. This gives us enough time to process your request and mail an exam out to the proctor / test center.
A2. It is a combination of written and application development.
There is no hardware involved in the exam (perhaps in the future 😉
A3. For LabVIEW, the standard coding guidelines are found in the LabVIEW Style Guide (in the LabVIEW documentation). For CVI, your code should conform to and maintain consistent C coding standards.
A4. The evaluation sheet that every candidate gets includes the topics missed on the written portion as well as deficiencies (if any)on the application development.
