TestStand file extensions

I would like to know for each extensions TestStand files : .opt, .tso, .tpj, .tsw what TestStand store in them.

Where are stored the the configurations (menu "Configure") etc...

Hey sfl,

The config settings are stored in .ini files.  They are located in: C:\Program Files\National Instruments\TestStand x.x  and then click on the Cfg folder.

Generally they are named appropriately.  However, TestExec.ini stores all of your station settings.

Are all the configurations settings are in the deployment version ?

Now you are asking the right questions.  The deployment is a bit trickier than it seems.  What I've found to work is to include the Cfg folder in my .tsw.  Then base my deployment on the .tsw.  When you are deciding where all the destinations are going to be then you want the Cfg folder to be deployed to your TS Application Data Directory.  This will ensure that on the deployed machine you will see the correct ini files when opening TS.
