G'day all,
This is more of an integration question than purely a Test Stand question, but I can't find a better place for it.
We use JIRA for as our ticketing system, and Jenkins as our CI/CD pipeline. We now have access to Requirements Gateway and Test Stand.
I'd like to be able to use Requirements Gateway for (suprise!) managing requirements, Test Stand to automate our production floor tests. This seems like an out-of-the-box behaviour.
I'd like to use JIRA as a source for providing updates to progress on specific requirements in Requirements Gateway. That is, for each requirement, I'm looking for a JIRA ticket that people can work against, and then have that progress rolled up in RG. I'd also like Test Stand to open JIRA tickets for bugs/errors.
I've googled, but there seems to be remarkably little on the subject. We're trying to get away from flinging Office documents about to track requirements; and I'd hate for reporting errors and bugs to be a manual process from the production floor.
Has anybody done this?
Help me, Obi-TestStandDiscussionForum, you're my only hope. 😄
Thanks,
Troy

Hello Troy,
You won't have an out of box solution. However, I know of a couple of solutions which you can put together to get there.
Have you looked at this?
Mathis has done the RG integration with Jenkins: https://forums.ni.com/t5/Distributed-Control-Automation/Requirements-Gateway-in-Continuous-Integrati...
Chris has done Jira integration with LabVIEW: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J4RYVAlXCG0
All the best.
Please let us know how it goes. I am personally interested in the Jira integration.
