Teststand message popup "appears" on unplugged screen

Hi All,

Last week we noticed a problem with the teststand message popup step type. Sometimes the message popup is not shown, (we can't see it on any monitor), but when we unplug the second monitor the message suddenly appears on the primary monitor.

(We are using teststand 4.1.1 operator interface on windows 7 with 2 monitors)

Could someone point us in the right direction please?

What is the setting in Windows for the display?

Is it Duplicate, or Extended?

The windows setting is extend.

Try using Duplicate so that both screens can see the same thing.

Do you mean, we have to change the setting the moment it happens again?

Or do we change the setting and see if it still happens?

(Changing the setting to duplicate instead of extend is unfortunately not a permanent fix for us, as we need both screens to display different applications.)
