Ok so I followed this KB for my exes: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/99EF1FA4A1990A1B862580A5006A3130
However, when developing a UI in LabVIEW and I use the run button it somehow resorts the the funky small icons and text. The window shrinks about 5x smaller than normal.
Before run arrow:
After Run Arrow:
Any ideas on how to fix this? Normally I wouldn't care because I can embed the manifest into my exe, but when I'm teaching and demoing it doesn't look great.
Thanks in advance,

Hi ~jiggawax~,
I'm not sure if you have tried the following, but it sounds kind of similar to this font sizes issue.
Why Does the Font Size Change When running a LabVIEW Executable in Windows: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/2F11E12E565D2DD5862579490062827D
Does this have any effect?
Thanks,

That was a good attempt but unfortunately the text is a small part of the issue. The entire window goes to about a 10th of the normal size. The screen grabs in my original post don't show this though.

Have you also tried the manifest for LabVIEW.exe like in that article as well as your executable?

Yes, otherwise LabVIEW would look funny when I was developing.

One of my coworkers was able to use the TestStand UI on a high resolution monitor and didn't see the same display. Would you be able to attach your code so I can try to replicate this on my end?

You can just use the source code for the full-featured or simple UIs that ship with TestStand. I verified they do the same thing. Does your co-workers PC have the DPI issue. They'd see it on a whole slew of applications.
Thanks for the help on this.

BTW- it only occurs when you are developing in LabVIEW and click the run arrow.

They were able to run the TestStand UI examples without running into the DPI issue. It looks like you are using LabVIEW 2016? Is this also with TestStand 2016?
Thanks,
