Unable to find the Teststand Model Path File

Solved!
Go to solution

I am unable to find the Teststand Model Path as specified in the NI Website, which says it should be Here:

"The default process model sequence file is TestStand\Components\NI\Models\TestStandModel\SequentialModel.seq"

This Path seems to be leaving out preceeding Path Location?  Like C:\ or C:\Program Files\...  etc., ...

If partial paths of this in the Program Files sub-directory and in the C:\user\public\... sub directories, but never able to find the full path as specified by NI's WEB site.

The sequential model by default is included in the installation directory for TestStand. The default is listed in this help documentation based on your installation and product settings. For example, the preceding <TestStand> listed in the help for TestStand 2017 64-bit would be C:\Program Files\National Instruments\TestStand 2017.

Hope this helps!

Roxy

That path ends at c:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\Teststand 2017\Components

the next Sub-Directory path in this path should be "NI\", but NI does not exist...  there are still a few more sub-directories beyond this...  Such as:  Models\TestStandModel\SequentialModel.seq

Hey Edmund,

It's unclear to me where you're getting that information. In the first help I linked, the subdirectories you list are shown in the path for the sequential model.

Thanks for your help, you were right, it was in a different place, than the NI online documentation said it was.  A path that did not include the directory "\NI"...
