There is no "Only if you use machines with AMD processors ... " on the Knowledgebase article.
Intel processors are insinuated , quote: "Even though this KnowledgeBase article is specific to machines using AMD CPUs, this workaround has solved the problem for some customers with machines using Intel CPUs as well."
My issue described here was using an Intel processor. 3600 seconds was a problem, it consistently took more than an hour. Total length of time, I never determined.
