Which TestExec.exe to use?

I have a TS/LV application and I am deploying to a new computer using only a Base Deployment Engine. In the TestStand directory there is a simple and full featured version of TestExec.exe. This is pretty much just TS and LV, there is no real time, vision, etc included so which TestExec.exe should I use?

Also with my first deployment attempt TestExec.exe did not get picked up. Does it need to be in the .tpj file or is it a build option? On the Distributed Files tab of the Deployment utility everything under Program files is checked.

you should pick the UI which serves you better. Simple and full featured UIs look differently from the surface and provide different information to the user (e.g. status bar is only available in the full featured).

And yes, you have to add the UI to the TS workspace in order to get it into the deployment kit.
