Dear All,
From TestStand, I'd like to write some data to a database. I can manage to write values to the database using the Data Operation -> PUT step.
But in this database, a GUID is used as a unique identifier. To generate one, the NEWID() function is to be used from the SQL call. How can I do this in teststand?
If I create a data operation -> execute step with the statement:
INSERT INTO TestTable(ID, ProductID) VALUES (NEWID(), 5)
Then I get the error 'Invalid Entrance', and afterwards my SQL statement is removed from the data operation step.
Is there any other way I can call this function while writing the data?
