drag and drop in a listbar

Do you know if it's possible to catch the drag and drop event in a listbar ActivX and to swallow it?

There's no straight forward and officially supported way of doing this, but you could probably manage to do this using RegisterDragDrop and RevokeDragDrop in the windows SDK.
