Where are you stuck? What programming language are you using?

I was trying to see if there was a native way to access a serial port directly from TestStand, like through VISA?

If I have to code it myself then it's a piece of cake in .NET, but it just adds one more layer of things for me to deal with.

There are the built-in IVI steps or download the VISA step type.

Excellent! Looks promising. Hopefully it will work with FTDI VCP serial ports. But if it doesn't then I'll just fallback to creating a .NET DLL. Thx.
