Hi All
i installed the different versions of Labview on my PC,such as:8.5&2010.
So i want to know if Teststand can adapt to them.Since i have install some intrument drivers for Labview8.5 on the PC.it seems not support 2010 version.if that means the previous codes will be cancelled?
when i creat or edit a vi from Teststand, which one will be started?labview 8.5 or 2010.or have some settings for it?
my Teststand version si 4.2.1

Whats the point of two different versions of LabVIEW? Why don't you just use 2010? The drivers can be simply moved to the 2010 folder.

i want to use some toolkits for labview. But it is difficult to find the 8.5 version toolkits on the website. So i intend to switch to the 2010 version.

Well it's interesting.
I personally think it will be fine, but I don't have any supportive tests.

I've done testing with TestStand integration with different versions of LabVIEW installed. It should work fine.
This patch will be needed to use LabVIEW 2010 with TestStand 4.2.1:

Different versions of LabVIEW can be targeted by using menu item: Configure>Adapters... > LabVIEW.
Let me know if you run into any issues.
Thanks,
Jim

Hello Jim,
Thanks for your reply.
I have tried to install the patch, and config the setting for adapter,it does not work.Even my labview can not startup from Teststand.
i have to uninstall labview 2010,So the issue can be solved
