initiate IVI dialog takes too long

Hello,

I often use IVI steps and it takes about 3seconds until the edit dialog appears.

Is there a possibility to speed this up?

Hi Frank,

I think you can´t do much about that since it could have a lot of reasons.

One thing you can always try is just to uninstall/reinstall the software.

But since I don´t see this problem on any of my computers with Teststand here,

I can´t tell you exactly what to do to come around the long load time.

Which version of TS are you using? On which Platform and Hardware?

Did you compare with another PC? Are the loadtimes as long there?

I have TS in version 4.1.1 and using this version on two computers, both have the same delay when I open the IVI dialog.

One PC has:

Win XPprof SP3

Intel P4 3.2Ghz

2GB RAM

Hi,

unfortunately, I did not find a reason why especially the IVI-steps of Teststand would be loading slowly or

anything like that. In my opinion, the only thing you can do is to try to uninstall/reinstall IVI-drivers, try newer versions or things like that.
