problem using python in teststand

when i select the Py module, the following error appear "impossible to find the specifyed file".

the file is present, i'm able to open using the proper button on the right of the page.

i checked:

  • CPython interpreter installed and added to your PATH variable
  • 'pywin32' installed
  • python version configured on adapter configuration dialog
  • 'numpy' installed

Hi Claudio,

 

doesn't TestSTand ask you to specify a path? Where is tthe py file located in respect to the .seq file?

Are your search path settings standard or are there modifications?

the first path is "Current sequence file directory"

Ok, so the Python adapter can be a bit special sometimes from what I've seen.

The NI helps suggests "resetting" the adapter by File-> Unload all modules.

 

Please check if this helps! 

 

If it doesn't, close the Seqeunce Editor and try again. If this also doesn't help, please try the ultimate IT solution: rebooting the computer... just to make sure 😉
