"start modal dialog.vi" doesn't work?

I'm using the "TestStand - Start Modal Dialog.vi". I remember using this in LV7.1 and it worked fine. I am now using this in TS4.0 and LV8.5 and it seems to be buggy... or perhaps I've forgotten how to use it.

My custom configuration entry point seems to run ok, the LabVIEW UI I created pops up fine but when the LV code hits the above mentioned VI, the LV UI immeadiatly closes it's front panel. Strange. Is this a known issue? If I remove this VI, everything executes fine of course I lose the modality feature.

Hi Michael,

It should work as in the previous version. I believe there is a shipped example in the TestStand folder, you could try that to see if it gives you the same problems.

I'll try it out a bit later today and get back to you.

This is now resolved. I was setting some UI properties and this was conflicting.
