The licensing is terrible and expensive for any customer you will do any work for, NI requires that fees be paid for using the runtime and I have had to stop using it because the companies I do work for are unwilling to pay those added fees for what they see as having no added value. I had hoped that NI would have followed other companies and stop charging runtime fees but that hasn't happened.
