Did you mean:

slow Deployment builder

TestStand 3.1 , Labview 3.01 when I invoke the Deploy TestStand System an choose build it takes a long time. So far it has been almost three hours for a simple system. The examine source files step was really slow. Any ideas why? Any ideas how to tell really slow from hung?
Thanks,
Chas

Hi Chas,

I would really like to replicate the behavior that you are experiencing to see if it is indeed hanging or if it is just going slow. Would you be willing to post the example system that you were trying so that I could take a look at it? Also, was your LabVIEW version a typo, or are you really using LabVIEW 3.0.1? If your example system actually has some information that you would not want to post on a public forum, then let me know, and we get the files transferred directly by email. I look forward to your reply. Have a good one.

Oops make that TestStand 3.1 and LabVIEW 7.0. Had a three day weekend and when I got back it wasn't hanging any more. But in the TestStandDeployment\Image\target\SupportVIs the directory is empty. I told it to create an installer. No evidence of that either. Am I looking in the right place?
I will try to create a simpler example than this whole mishmagosh I have to post.
thanks,
Charles
