unknown error -2147352571

I am getting this 'Unknown error  -2147352571' on property import from excel.

I have a previous test sequence which operated correctly, and took the import excel file and edited for my new sequence as it shares a lot of constants & equations. I have cut it down to match the steps in my new sequence but when i try an import it fails with this really useful error.

I think i have seen similar errors in the past where things like parameter names didnt match.

Anyway i have made an export file to check for differences, and to me it seems identical in the key aspects. (the exported file obviously imports without error)

Any ideas?

Have you sent the ignore lines with $ in your setup?

Yes - $ defined.

Its behaving quite bizzarely - I tried using the export version and progressivly copying back in content from the other version (copy-save-test import), and at a certain point it falls over, but i remove that last copy and resave, it still fails.

Through some unknown order or method i have now managed to make a working version by this copy-paste mehtod.

But i dont know why.

If i had to guess, its something to do with formulas or defined names in cells.
