What challenge/problem are you trying to solve through your application:
The main challenge failed by the health care sector is to be able to deliver healthcare to patients not only in the hospitals and medical centres, but also in their homes and workplaces thus offering cost savings and improving the quality of life of the patients.
How does your application solves the above mentioned challenge/problem:
Wireless Reconfigurable Health Monitoring System provides two main advantages. First is the mobility of patients due to partable monitoring devices.
Second advantage is the location independent monitoring facility.
Description of Project:
The use of reconfigurable hardware can improve the processing performance of many systems, including Wireless Sensor Networks(WSNs).Moreover, Reconfigurable devices permit remote and runtime HW configuration.
A number of tiny wireless sensors,stratigically placed on the human body, creste a wireless body area network that can monitor various vital signs,providing real time feedback to the user and medical personnel.
