Asynchronous Sampling of Analog Inputs in LabVIEW FPGA using PXIe-7862

Hi All,

  PXIe-7862 features analog inputs (AI) with a maximum 1 MSample/s per channel. Is it possible to use multiple AIs of the PXIe-7862 to obtain an equivalent higher sampling frequency?

For example, is it possible to shift by 500 ns the command for sampling AI0 and AI1 and sample both at 1 MSample/s, so that to sample the desired signal, connected simultaneously to AI0 and AI1, with a sampling frequency of 2 MSample/s? Are there examples? (I could not find information.)

I have never tried it myself but seems like the technique exists. It is known as Interleaved ADCs

I have created an example for your reference.
