Brute force or bust? Help Reset External Calibration Password - PXIE-4141 SMU

Hi,

Have a PXIE-4141 SMU that I'm trying to calibrate. 

• I've create the VI to do the calibration process
• I get a password fail. 
• I have tried "NI", "ni", and blank (no password) but can't get in. 
• I don't have any records of another password being used. 

How do I reset this password?

I saw on a forum that NI may have a VI to accomplish this, but I have not found it.
I don't have a service contract anymore with NI so I'm not sure they are going to respond to my request for help. 

Does anyone have any knowledge (other than building a brute force password reset VI, which I already have running) on how to reset the password to factory default of "NI" ?

Solved this... via brute force.

• Used a nested loop VI to run through alphanumeric combinations.
• Took a few days but got it to work.

Wanted to put this here, in case anyone runs into a simialr issue.
