Calibration with floating voltage source - Connections

Hi,

I want to calibrate a PXI-6133 DAQ with a floating voltage source. In the calibration manual it says to connect the positive output of the calibrator to the AI + pin. Since my voltage source is floating I connect the negative output to AI GND. Should I short AI - to AI GND or leave AI - unconnected?

Sorry, I just answered this question for myself that it only makes sense to short the AI- and GND inputs.
