First of all thank you for your reply. I know that NI-8145 RT capable of running a single PID loop at up to 6 kHz.
Does this means 8145 RT can only control 1 PID at 6kHz or several of PID loop with each of them at 6kHz?
Base on my protocol,the accuracy has to be about 0.1 micro second which mean 6kHz is enough. 6 stepper motor can be control by 2 stepper motion controller (one is 2 axes NI-7332, one is 4 axes NI-7334). I belive those 2 card have enough 16 DIO(maybe I will not use all of thoese DIO).
So my controller system will like this:
PC + NI-8145 RT + NI-7332 + NI-7334 + UMI
Is that correct?
