Cannot set PXI Chassis in MAX

I am trying to set up the chassis and access the inputs/outputs of my PXI6259 card.

I have a PXI 1031 Chassis with 8106 Controller.

I can see the controller and chassis in MAX, I set the controller number but cannot set the chassis type (I get the error Max cannot change the information for this chassis (see pic).

I have checked the bios, it is operating in Labview RT mode.

I can set-up channels in MAX under remote system/ipaddress/devices and instruments/pxi system(PXI 8106)/PXI chassis(unidentified)/INSTR PXI-6259

I have been unable to access from DAQ assistant so far.

Under "PXI System", right click "Chassis" and select "Identify As..." Then you can set the chassis type.

This is the problem, I cannot set it, it allows me to select 1031 but then an error comes up saying MAX cannot change it.

Sorry I can't be of more help. I changed jobs and I do not have a PXI system available at my new place of employment. From what I remember, all the DAQmx stuff has to be set up under the Remote Systems. That's where the actual hardware resides. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong...like I stated, I have no way of looking at it now.
