DAQ Assistant has no connection points

I have created a DAQ Assistant for one of the cards (PXI-6143) on my NI PXI-1045 but the Block Diagram shows no connection points around the item.

What am I doing wrong?

I stepped through the Assistant and completed all the steps - with no errors showing up. I just can't make any connections to the item in the Block Diagram.

Howdy adamea!

Please look over the explanations in this KnowledgeBase article as to why the terminals on your DAQ Assistant might not be appearing.  If those explanations do not solve the issue then the DAQmx installation may be corrupted.  You can try performing a repair on DAQmx via Add/Remove Program in Windows.
