Device Driver for MXI-4 compatible with Win2K and NI-DAQ 6.9.3

I could sure use some help with this one.

I am looking for device driver for MXI-4 compatible with Windows 2000 or maybe  WinXP and NI-DAQ 6.9.3.

I cannot find online anything older than Platform Services v2.3.2.

I have a large application built in LV 5.1, that I've had running on an "embedded"  (Windows) controller .

Related hardware is PXI-1011, PXI-6052E, & several SCXI modules.

My problem is that PC failed and now the IT overlords and my manager want me to use a new computer runnign Windows 7.

We got a MXI-4 set, but the platform services installs MAX 4.4. I can see the PXI-1011 chassis.  But, the multi-function DAQ card is not seen with DAQ drivers.  I tried installing DAQ 6.9.3, but the DAQ card was not detected.
When I try to run the application, it errors out.

I did clean unistall of all NI software. Then tried installing the latest version of DAQ, including DAQmx 9.0.? and TraditionalDAQ 7.4.4, and Platform Services 2.6.4.
In MAX, I could see the chassis which tested successfully, I could see the DAQ card which also ran the test panels successfully, could see the SCXI cards which also ran the test panel(s) successfully.
But, of course my application errored out.  (also, it looks like the composition of the SCXI module address is different from what I had to use in DAQ6 (and earlier) the construction of the virtual channels for initializing a DAQ task.

Anyway,
I've also tried installing a slightly earlier version of MAX/ DAQ/ etc... with similar results.
So, now I am hoping someone can help me locate an earlier version of Platform Services (platform device drivers) that would be compatible with Windows 2000 or  Windows XP and NI-DAQ 6.9.3.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Hi Dave,

I'm doing some research on your questions. I have been unable to find a version of Platform Services older than the ones you found so far, but I will keep looking. I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Hi Dave,

Unfortunately, Traditional NI-DAQ (Legacy) is not supported in Windows 7. NI-DAQmx greatly improves upon the functionality of Traditional DAQ. If you would like to learn more about the reason for the move to NI-DAQmx, please see the tutorial called Answers to Frequently Asked Questions about NI-DAQmx and Traditional NI-DAQ (Legacy). In order to use your application in Windows 7 you will need to update your VIs to run off of DAQmx. Please see the tutorial called Transition from Traditional NI-DAQ to NI-DAQmx in LabVIEW.

In regards to PXI Platform Services, please see the PXI Platform Service Hardware Support page so we can verify which version we are looking for.

National Instruments has attempted to contact the customer for futher help with PXI Platform Services. For help with similar questions please visit National Instruments Support to contact an engineer.

Hi Andrew, I have given up on being able to use this combination of LV 5.1 built executable under Windows 7. So, for the time being and until I can take the time to change over to database interface using the Database Connectivity Toolset, I've gone to Windows 2000 SP4. As noted in my original post, I am looking for a platform services distro that is compatible with (traditional) NI DAQ 6.9. (DAQ 6.9.3f3 was what I had used originally).

When I tried to put in a service request email, I was rejected -- "LabVIEW 5 is no longer supported".

thanks

Dave
