Driver Problem with PXI-2503 and PXI-2570

Solved!
Go to solution

Hey everybody,

I have a problem with some driver of the PXI system. I have a PXIe-1073 chassis with following components:

  • PXIe-4330 (Bridge Input)
  • PXIe-4080 (DMM)
  • PXI-2503 (Relay Module)
  • PXI-2570 (Multiplexer)

So I installed NI-DAQmx drivers (17.6), NISwitch (18.0) and NI-DMM(17.0) but for the PXI-2503 and the PXI-2570 no drivers are found (they should com with the NI-Switch). They are visible in the NI-MAX but it says: Windows associate no driver with your device.

That is strange because I have the same system 4 times. In 3 times everything works perfect (with the same software configuration). This system I tested succesfully on my PC. It's actually installed in China.

I did the syme procedure with a system which is installed in the US and everythinf is working there.

So I stugged with that problem and hopes that anybody could give me the right advice to solve that problem.

Thanks and best regards from Germany.

Jochen

Hello,

For PXI-2503 and PXI-2570 the NI-Switch (18.0) driver is completely fine. Could you please provide info about your LabVIEW version and OS type?

I would try to follow these steps: "Windows does not have a driver associated with your device."

Or kind of the same instructions in NI Knowledge Base: Windows Device Manager: The Drivers for This (NI) Device Are Not Installed

Let me know how is it going.

Hey Lukas,

thank you for your post. I reinstalled everything and for some reasons I don't know it works.

Thank you and have a great day.

Best Regards

Jochen
