I get the following error when running the program Cable Fault Detection_Demo.vi

Error -1073807343 occurred at niFgen Initialize.vi 

insufficient location information or the device or resource is not present in the system.

If the resource descriptor is an IVI name, it must match the entry in the IVI Configuration Store in a case sensitive manner.

Hi Ken,

What is the hardware setup you are using?  What software are you using - LabVIEW version, drivers, operating system?  Is the Cable Fault Detection_Demo.vi a VI that you created or something that you found online?

I am using The PXI-5122 scope, the PXIe-5442 Function Generator, the NI-TB-2627 (32 x 1) MUX, and the PXI-6281 multifunction DAQ.  I am Using Labview 8.6.1.  The Operating system is Windows Vista.  I found the Cable Fault Detection_Demo.vi on the NI search.  Attached is the VI

When I run NI-FGEN Configure Standard Waveform.vi  I get the message.  The operation cannot be completed in the current output mode.  This session must be in Standard Function mode to perfrom this operation.  What is meant by Standard Function Mode

Hi Ken,

I think that this has something to do with the addressing of your fgen.  This KnowledgeBase explains the error.
