Error code 63

HI,

Problem Description :

We are building a real-time application using VI server concept. The

application runs on a Windows host PC and basically calls the I/O functions

of the PXI resources working under LabVIEW RT.

We are employing the following hardware,

PXI Chassis 1006

PXI Embedded Real-Time Controller PXI-8176/RT

Analog Output PXI-6711 - 4 No's

Analog Output PDXI-AO-16/16 - 2 No's

DMM PXI-4060

Multifunction DAQ PXI-6052E

Isolated Digital I/O PXI-6527 - 2 No's

I installed the software into LabVIEW RT controller. Now when I try to open an Application reference from ATE host PC, I am getting an error 63 Which says error during Open Application reference.

I am not able to connect to RT from ATE  host PC. Can anyone help me on this???

Hello HCL Tech!

I am willing to bet you have your TCP/IP settings disabled on your RT Target.  To enable these in LabVIEW goto Tools>> RT Target :NNN.NNN.NNN.NNN Options....

In the Select 'VI Server Configuration' from the combo box and make sure the TCP/IP checkbox is checked.  Next goto the 'TCP/IP Access List' and make sure either the IP address of the host or a '*' is specified.  I believe this will solve your problem.  Let me know and have a great day!
