Hello
Referring to NI’s document available on link http://www.ni.com/white-paper/7189/en I have received a signal from an Active antenna of company Wi-Sys Communications (Ws3967-p) as mentioned in the Doc above but I have received the signal like I have made attachment
Question :It is an Ok Signal ? with an SNR that can be further processed to get information? or Snr and NF are too low to get it processed? What should be done ?
Regards

Hi,
The signal looks a navigation signal but at such low levels, it might be difficult say without playing it back to see if the receiver complains. As you may have noticed in that reference document, it would be a good idea to use pre-amplifcation (e.g. 5690 pre-amplifier) to further amplify the signal before receiving it. How much gain is the antenna giving ?
I see a tone there. That may cause trouble when receiver analyzes the signal. What device are you using for acquisition ?

Hello
Thnx for ur reply:
i have used the same configuration mentioned in the doc (i.e i have used 5690). i have also mentioned the antenna model so one can find out the antenna specifications about gain etc. yes it look like to me that gain of the antenna is very low. any other suggestion regarding recption antenna or Hardware acusition setup.
