How can I reduce noise from the fans in PXI-1000B chassi?

The noise from fans of the PXI-1000B chassis is quite high. Our system only contains a CPU, a Multi I/O card and a Digital I/O card. Any ideas how to reduce the noise?

Jonas,

The PXI-1000B has a switch on the back for AUTO and HIGH for the fan, I would make sure that it is set to AUTO. Also, you might try using the filler panels on the front to enclose the front of the chassis. This can reduce the noise. Other than that, you don't have many options for reducing the noise,

The lables on my chassi is HI/LO and the switch is set to LO. Is there an option AUTO with temperature controlled fans?
