Hello,
My challenge is to build a cost effective acquisition system to mesure more than 130 termistances or voltages/currents. The precision need to be as accurate as a few hundreds of ppm. The overall dimensions have to be as small as possible, so the number of cards used need to be reduced.
Next, the controller I have to work with is a PowerPC (typically a G4) with Linux (kernel 2.4). Apparently, Linux/ppc is not well supported by NI. Drivers can be written for this architecture?
So my question is : what is the best configuration? Costs is not the main issue, dimension and software are more difficult to deal with.
My first choice is some PXI-6225 (ADC 40 differential ended channels 16b) with some PXI-2530 (64x1 2wires MUX) connected to the DACs provided by the acquisition card. Does it exist better configuration ?
Thanks to help me.
Nice day.
