How to check the amount of memory on board is used in RFSA during spectrum acquisition

I am currently using a PXIe-5663E to do spectrum measurements with a 256MB on board memory digitizer.

I am trying to assess if 64MB on board memory is good enough for my test requirements.

I referred to this white paper from NI regarding the benefits of using deep memory digitizer.

Using the formulas in there, I am able to calculate the sampling rate at a certain span (i.e. sampling rate = delta frequency x FFT Size). I basically get the niRFSA property called "FFT Size" and multiply it with delta frequency from the power spectrum cluster.

But how do I relate the sampling rate to the amount of on-board memory consumed by the acquisition?

For example, if I set the span to 10MHz, how do I calculate the amount of on-board memory consumed?

Is there a way to figure this out?
