use IMAQ for my college research for my Autonomuous Aerial Vihecle(Flying robot-either model Helicopter or fixed wing airplane). Does anyone have any idea what is the best hardware to load with IMAQ that is light, small and support IMAQ realtime operation?Thank you for answering me .
Well. the hardware will be uploaded on a model flying vehicle and should be no more than 8 ibs. I am also thinking about using System on a chip, PC104, ,single board computer, or the worst will be a labtop for the usage of labview and machine vision. Do you think if I can just use a analog camera and implement the software with my suggested hardware ? are there any alternative that function as labview 's machine vision but can work in real time with my suggestion hardware. what do you think ? Or you might have better suggestion ?
I also notice there are a lot of open source code for machine vision online, what do you think If we were to better off to use thouse open source code than labview?
