Interfacing accelerometer with PXI1002

hello,

         i am interested in interfacing an accelerometer with a PXI 1002 system using DAQ card with analog inputs.Is this possible and if any settings in particular are to be done for this arrangement .I was previously using NI 9234 to acquire data from accelerometer.But due to unavailability of the card at the moment i am in search for an alternative option.
