While installing the NI-VISA software 'visa430full' for PCI-8331 card on Windows-7 PC, I am facing the following issue:
Unsupported version of National Instruments system component detected
A version of a National Instruments system component that is not supported on this operating system has been detected. You must cancel this installation and uninstall all unsupported National Instruments software before continuing. Refer to ni.com/vista for more information.
Please suggest the solution.

Hi maxhas,
The issue could be that you are installing a version of the driver that is incompatible with the OS that you are using. From your post, I understand you are trying to download the NI-VISA 4.3, which is compatible with Windows Vista and earlier and you are using Windows 7.You should be able to find the appropriate driver for your operating system here: NI Drivers Results
If the issue persists, would you be able to upload a MAX report to this forum? This would allow me to see the drivers and other National Instruments software you have installed on your machine.
Instructions to generate the report are Measurement and Automation Explorer are as follows:
1) Launch the MAX report wizard by going to File>> Create Report.
2) Select Technical Support Report.
3) Select the systemf from which you want a report and specify a location.
4) Click next to generate the report.
5) A final dialog box appears when the report is finished generating. Open the HTML file. You can copy and paste that information in to a word diagram and upload that file.
Hope this information is helpful and let me know if you have any other questions,
Kind Regards
