Low latency servo from PXI system

Dear All,

I have following hardware:

- PXI-1042Q

- PXI-8106 (2.16 GHz Dual-Core Processor PXI Embedded Controller)

- PXI-6229 (32 AI (16-Bit, 250 kS/s), 4 AO, 48 DIO, PXI Multifunction I/O Module)

- PXI-6722 (13-Bit, 8-Channel, 800 kS/s PXI Analog Output Module)

- PXIe-6363 (PXIe, 32 AI (16-Bit, 2 MS/s), 4 AO, 48 DIO, PXI Multifunction I/O Module)

- LabView 2015 & Windows 7

And I plan to use it as a servo-regulator to control hardware:

- ADC gets error signal (fs=20 kHz, two channels)

- LV does signal conditioning (gain and offset correction,  low pass filtering) and processing (kind of PID regulator)

- DAC generates voltage to control hardware (update rate about 2 kHz)

Could you tell me is there a possibility to achieve a low latency operation with aforementioned hardware?  What would be achievable delay from ADC-to-DAC?

Anywhere from a few tens/hundreds of milliseconds to seconds (depending on your implementation). Moreover, if your windows OS hangs, your latency could be in the order of minutes or hours or when the Windows recovers.
